Mustafa Uzuner (1981) is a Montreal-based Turkish artist, curator, and producer pursuing a Ph D in Cinema and Media Studies at York University. Former Head of Programming at !f Istanbul Independent Film Festival (2011–2018), he has worked in theatrical distribution with filmmakers including Pedro Costa, Hong Sang-soo, and Payal Kapadia. His directorial debut, the medium-length film “La Cancha” (2023), premiered in IDFA’s Envision Competition.
