Obscure night- "Ain't I a child?"
Sylvain George was born in Lyon, France. He holds degrees in philosophy, Right and Politicals sciences, cinema (EHESS. Sorbonne). He realise since 2006 documentary films on the themes of immigration and socials movments. His work is presented at international festivals (Cannes, Locarno, Rotterdam…), where he wins numerous prizes (Best film, FIPRESCI prize...). In 2012 he was invited to the Robert Flaherty Film Seminar.
He teach at the Institut de Sciences Politiques de Paris (IEP), give masterclass and workshop all over the world (FEMIS, Punto de Vista, Instituto Politécnico de Tomar, Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (ENS Lyon), Lima Independente Film Festival, Filmmaker Film Festival/Milano Film Festival, FIDBA…).
