IF I WERE ALIVE

Born in 1984 and a partner in the company Filmes de Plástico, André directed films selected for Cannes, Locarno, New Directors New Films, Durban, and Jeonju. His work was the subject of studies in many world-class universities, including NYU and San Diego, and he was a guest at the Flaherty Seminar in 2022. His 2010 FANTASMAS was elected the most influential Brazilian short film of the century. He is also a published author, preparing the release of his second book, a short story collection.
