El Centro Ático de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana y el Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena de Indias – FICCI invitan a estudiantes universitarios de pregrado de todo el país, mayores de edad, a participar en la quinta versión del Laboratorio de Guion: La Deconstrucción del personaje.
Este es un espacio pensado para que los y las guionistas, con una historia en etapa avanzada de escritura, tengan herramientas que les permitan reconocer a ese ser al que han decidido darle la potestad de llevar la trama de su historia hasta el final.
Será el momento ideal para encontrarse cara a cara con su protagonista, retarlo, deconstruirlo y reconstruirlo.
Ya se han realizado tres ediciones de este Laboratorio en el FICCI y una en el Festival Miradas Medellín, recibiendo inscripciones desde ciudades como Bogotá, Medellín, Cartagena, Santa Marta, entre otras.
Para esta quinta versión, el Laboratorio se llevará a cabo en Cartagena del 2 al 6 de abril del 2025, en el marco del FICCI, y busca que los guionistas tengan un protagonista más sólido en relación a sus propias dimensiones narrativas; y que explore una metodología práctica que les permita fortalecer los demás personajes no solo de ese guion, sino de las demás historias que estarán por venir.
El plazo máximo para diligenciar la inscripción es hasta el 7 de marzo y los estudiantes seleccionados para participar en el Laboratorio recibirán acreditación al FICCI.
The Centro Ático of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and the Cartagena de Indias International Film Festival – FICCI invite undergraduate university students from all over the country, of legal age, to participate in the fifth version of the Screenwriting Lab: The Deconstruction of the Character.
This is a space designed so that screenwriters, with a story at an advanced stage of writing, have tools that allow them to recognize that being to whom they have decided to give the power to carry the plot of their story to the end.
It will be the ideal moment to meet face to face with their protagonist, challenge him, deconstruct and reconstruct him.
Three editions of this Lab have already been held at FICCI and one at the Miradas Medellín Festival, receiving registrations from cities such as Bogotá, Medellín, Cartagena, Santa Marta, among others.
For this fifth version, the Laboratory will be held in Cartagena from April 2 to 6, 2025, within the framework of FICCI, and seeks to provide screenwriters with a more solid protagonist in relation to their own narrative dimensions; and to explore a practical methodology that will allow them to strengthen the other characters not only of that script, but also of the other stories to come.
The deadline for registration is March 7 and students selected to participate in the Lab will receive accreditation to FICCI.
The call is open to undergraduate university students from all over the country (18 years of age and older).
Centro Ático will NOT be responsible for travel, lodging and/or food expenses incurred by participants.
Participants and projects that took part in previous versions of this Laboratory will not be selected.
Centro Ático reserves the right to modify the schedule at any time, and will make timely public communication of the same.
Originality of the story. The differential value of the subject matter and whether the story is novel, striking or unusual will be evaluated.
Feasibility. The project is evaluated to be feasible and coherent with the format: Short film.
Consistency with the call for proposals (short film script). It is evaluated that the story can be told in a short film format.
Construction of the main character. The importance of the main character in the story is evaluated.
Impact and thematic relevance. The story is evaluated for its relevance to society.
