SYNOPSIS

Some prefabricated huts set the oppressive atmosphere in which a mother struggles to raise her two children on a farm in Hudson Valley, New York. With its dark photography, Dios nunca muere is like a costumbrista painting of sorts, a snapshot of a world that is far removed from the star-spangled American Dream.
