May 23, 1934. On a backroad in Louisiana, a group of cops spearheaded by Frank Hamer and Maney Gault, two veteran rangers from Texas, shot down Bonnie and Clyde, public enemies number one at the time. Based on true facts, the film is narrated from the point of view of these two ex-cops who come out of retirement at the request of a group of banks desperate to put an end to the robberies committed by the infamous crime duo in the early Thirties during the Great Depression. The wit, gut instinct and old school tactics of these two veterans will prove more effective at hunting down the outlaws than the FBI, which has all the resources of the state at its disposal. A solid police drama starring Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson.
