Besides being the oldest and most relevant film event in the region, FICCI also draws some of the highest audience turnout in theatres. For this reason, it is worth getting accredited. In 2017, it drew 130,760 attendees, more than 47,000 of whom went to the theatres and to its academic spaces. There were 6,890 accredited people in total, more than 1,000 of whom were industry-related, 580 press, 422 participants, and more than 1,000 students.

FICCI’s spaces are open to the general public. We offer 380 screenings in 16 screening rooms (Multiplex Cine Colombia Caribe Plaza, Bocagrande and Castellana), the Teatro Adolfo Mejía, and Rooms 1 and 2 of Casa 1537, as well as two wonderful sets of ‘Cine Bajo las Estrellas’ at the Plaza de la Proclamación and the Explanada de Banderas, added to the more than 40 academic spaces of Salón FICCI and one of the most beautiful experiences of the city where the program ‘Cine en los Barrios’ takes place.

During the festival, the city of Cartagena welcomes more than 200 guests who are open to share their knowledge and experiences throughout 5 intense days, that include a program that goes from 10:00 am until midnight.

FICCI grows like its audience. For 2018, it has as its goal to make these 5 days a potent showcase of world cinema, as well as to position itself as one of the best encounters of cinephiles, industry experts, guests, and film lovers, who, year by year, for 58 years, inhabit this city with their images.
