Puerto Lab

PuertoLab, one of the most important initiatives set in motion by the Cartagena International Film Festival, marks its third edition with five films selected from 125 in the post-production phase. They are a sampling of quests for new forms of expression, of a great variety of stories but above all, of a special Ibero-American synergy with the objective of being seen and heard in the best films in the region.

Three documentaries and two fiction films, all feature-length, will be presented before experienced jurors, festival programmers and sales and distribution agents from around the world, creating a unique opportunity for fresh perspectives on works in progress, and opening the doors to a plethora of possibilities for improvement before completing the post-production phase and entering the international stage.

Sundance TV will be awarding US $5,000 cash to the winning project, Cinecolor Digital will offer complete finishing services including DCP mastering at any one of its centers in the Americas, worth US $13,000, while Motiff will create the official poster for the film.
