A new edition of the Cartagena International Film Festival (FICCI) is here to bring together before a single backdrop enthusiasts, spectators and creators of the seventh art. The 57th edition approaches, and with it come days filled with color and magic, where stories, dimensions and realities cohere on the big screen as a welcome to thousands of participants.

Our city of Cartagena is once again entrusted with receiving countless tales, dreams and memories from our collective consciousness, told in each script and production that is represented in the statuette of the India Catalina, the materialization of wishes come true. This year FICCI will therefore pay a well-deserved tribute to the figure that has served as our symbol year after year, reconstructing the essence of the Caribbean, embodying the oldest festival in the country and one of the most important in the region.

We celebrate the ability to experience our enchanting Festival in a country at peace. Colombia is now embarking on a process of reconciliation between brothers and sisters, a theme that has reappeared in countless productions and that today is a wonderful new reality. At this moment in history we are here to support the construction of a new inclusive and tolerant society by bringing you productions that portray and celebrate this current stage.

In its 57th edition, FICCI will reconstruct, relive and honor our history through our senses, inviting all to watch, listen, breathe and feel these films in a program that promises a week filled with unforgettable sensory experiences that will no doubt leave attendees promising to return.

Welcome to the Festival!
